The TROPICAL 7s takes place at the stunning Tampa Sportsplex in the sunshine state of Florida, USA.

Built in 2019, the Tampa Sportsplex is an elite-level sports facility located just 10mins drive from downtown Tampa, 20mins drive from Tampa International Airport, and less than an hour's drive to Florida’s gulf coast beaches. 

 

The facility consists of 15 professionally maintained full-size pitches, all featuring premium LED floodlights & live stream capability, a central tournament plaza and on-site parking. Opened in 2019, the Sportsplex is widely regarded as one of North America's premier tournament venues.

 

All fields have been planted with Celebration Bermuda grass (as used for many of the region's pristine golf courses) and features a modified USGA drainage and irrigation system to ensure high quality field conditions.

 

Many of Tampa’s famous attractions are just a short drive from the venue including Busch Gardens theme park, the Florida Aquarium and Adventure Island.  Tampa is a world-renowned sporting destination in its own right and is home to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2021 NFL Champions), the Tampa Bay Lightning (2021 NHL Champions) and many other professional and amateur sports teams.
